Introducing Lumi-Dome Latent Print Development System
By ExecutiveForensics.com
The newly released Lumi-Dome, cyanoacrylate and sublimation dye fingerprint development system is now available to law enforcement. This orange acrylic dome is equipped with blue 470 nm LED’s and a miniature 12 volt fan. The CNYellow is dispersed using a small butane torch and the result is highly luminescent, stable prints that can often be observed from 12 to 20 feet away. The dome directs the fumes to the area suspected to contain the prints while the fan cools the moisture in the prints increasing polymerization. The CNYellow is specific to the prints and development can be observed almost immediately in many cases. CNYellow, photo-luminescent cyanoacrylate, could well indeed revolutionize in the field fingerprint development opportunities. CN-Yellow replacement charges with an indefinite shelf life are available exclusively through Arrowhead Forensics, and the fluorescent dye enables nearly instant visualization to assist in the detection and collection of your valuable evidence.
Complete Lumi-dome System with 10 single use CN-Yellow charges $325.00 plus shipping.

"Fuma-Dome™"
Cyanoacrylate Latent Print Developing System
with Rechargeable Cartridge
The Fuma-Dome™ is a new and revolutionary system for developing latent prints by means of cyanoacrylate (super glue) fumes.
Unlike other fuming guns, the Fuma-Dome™ combines a fuming gun and fuming chamber into one system specifically designed for use at a crime scene; however, it can also be used in the crime laboratory.
This innovative design also incorporates a rechargeable cyanoacrylate cartridge which eliminates the need to purchase expensive one-use-only cartridges.
At less than 25 cents per charge, the
Fuma-Dome™ is extremely cost effective for your department.Developing latent prints with Fuma-Dome™
is simple and straightforward:
Step 1
Turn the butane gas control knob to the "on" position and light the butane gas coming out of the end of the rechargeable cartridge.
Step 2
Place the Fuma-Dome™ over any evidence where you expect to find prints. Prints will start to develop within a few seconds. See Figures 1-2.
Recharging the cartridge:
After the cyanoacrylate is depleted, recharging is quick and easy:
Step 1
Squeeze six to seven drops of our liquid cyanoacrylate onto the porous steel ball located between the two bronze retaining screens as shown.
Step 2
After approximately three minutes of drying time, slide the cyanoacrylate cartridge back onto the torch, and your Fuma-Dome™ is ready for the next time you need it. A recharged cartridge will provide you with approximately five to ten minutes of fuming.SYSTEM FEATURES
Cost Effective - Rechargeable cyanoacrylate cartridge - no need to purchase expensive one-use-only cartridges
Efficient - Approximately 5-10 minutes of cyanoacrylate fuming at recommended butane fuel setting
Fast - Latent prints are developed in seconds
Fuma-Dome™ is supplied with:
1 ea. 1.3 oz. Pressurized Butane Fuel Container
1 ea. 1 oz. Liquid Cyanoacrylate Bottle for recharging the cartridge
1 ea. Detailed Instruction Sheet
ADDITIONAL FEATURES
A) The clear, 11" diameter plastic dome allows you to monitor the prints as they develop.
B) The Fuma-Dome™ can be used for developing prints on larger surfaces such as glass windows, doors, tabletops, or even vehicles, as shown in Figure 2.
C) The Fuma-Dome™ can also be used as a traditional fuming gun as shown in Figure 3. When used in this manner, the dome directs the cyanoacrylate fumes away from you.

Cyanoacrylate Latent Print Developer
This low-cost, disposable cyanoacrylate fuming device is specifically designed for developing latent prints within five minutes, either in the laboratory or at a crime scene.
The innovative design of the Press & Fume™ allows first responders to process evidence for latent prints at a crime scene. Prints developed using cyanoacrylate (super glue) are considered strong and permanent, therefore, after photographs are taken, the evidence can be transported to the lab without damage to the developed prints.
Press & Fume™ consists of a 4” L x 1½” W x ¾” H cardboard box with two prefilled, hermetically sealed glass ampoules containing cyanoacrylate and a high density cotton pad saturated with a catalyst and accelerant solution, then thoroughly dried.
Using Press & Fume™ to develop latent prints is a simple two step procedure:
Step 1 - After placing the Press & Fume™ box in the bottom of a fuming chamber or cardboard box, simply break the two ampoules with the 18” ampoule breaker supplied in each case of kits.
Step 2 - Cyanoacrylate vapor will immediately start fuming from the 1/8” diameter vents on top of the Press & Fume™ box, and prints will fully develop within five minutes (in a 3 cubic ft. chamber).
NOTE
A) Press & Fume™ can also be used for developing latent prints inside vehicles, using either two or four Press & Fume™ devices, depending on the size of the vehicle’s interior.
B) Prints developed with cyanoacrylate fuming will be very light gray or off-white. To enhance the contrast of cyanoacrylate prints on white or light-colored backgrounds, prints can be dusted using standard fingerprint powder, i.e.; prints developed on a white coffee cup should be lightly dusted using black fingerprint powder. Prints developed on multicolored surfaces can be dusted with fluorescent powder.Developing prints with Press & Fume™ is easier and faster than other fuming techniques and virtually eliminates the possibility of damaging developed prints when evidence is transported back to the lab.
